Where do men go when they are searching for meaning? The need for meaning and purpose is an intrinsic part of a life that is completely satisfying and has no regret. The difficulty for many men is they feel obligated to suppress inner issues like childhood trauma, wants, dreams, desires and emotions to appear strong to the outside world. Sometimes you can have everything in your life in the right order, your job, family, friends..... it looks good on paper, but you still feel empty inside. Or maybe your life has gone off track and you are trying to figure out how to get back to where you need to be. The ManKind Project is a group where men encourage other men to stop putting on a front and put in the hard work to get to the core issues that are making them feel empty inside.
The Mankind Project serves close to 10,000 men each week in 11 regions worldwide through challenging programs designed to empower men to missions of service to support men to make a difference in the lives of others. They have men’s groups that provide mentorship to men at all levels of success to destroy the protected walls men build to hide themselves from the emotions inside. These groups will hold men accountable for the stories they tell themselves while making them challenge the fear. The Mankind Project gives men the power to blow up the walls that are blocking them from the beauty that is on the other side of them. The Mankind Project has transformed the lives of millions of men over the years by helping them find their WHY. We met with three men David, Frank, and Terry, that have been positively affected by The Mankind Project and they share their stories with us.
